The Open Wetlands Studio addresses the decline of natural wetlands caused by human intervention—including land reclamation, drainage, climate change, and pollution from industrial and urban infrastructures. Through a design-led approach, the studio interrogates the boundary between natural and culturally constructed habitats, reimagining livable futures for these vital ecosystems that often remain physically and perceptually inaccessible to humans.
